Foreign Minister Stubb to attend the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will take part in the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers (Gymnich) to be held in Brussels on 10–11 September.
On the first day of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers will discuss the situation in Pakistan and the EU’s strategic partners, especially China.
The morning of the second meeting day will begin with a working breakfast with Ministers for Foreign Affairs from candidate countries. The final discussion of the Gymnich meeting will deal with the possibilities for foreign policy cooperation between the EU and Turkey.
Informal meetings of the EU Foreign Ministers have been held regularly at six-month intervals since 1974.
